The Groasis Treesolution: a sustainable way to quickly and affordably achieve carbon neutrality
Groasis wants to cause the reforestation of 2 billion hectares of wasteland by 2050 - thus restoring 1/3rd of all the degraded land that mankind has created over the past few hundred years.
This video, an English version of the prize-winning presentation we held at Duurzame Dinsdag (Sustainable Tuesday) on the 5th of September, 2023, sets out our vision to make the Netherlands fully carbon neutral by 2035 - at less than half the cost of the current measures the Dutch government intends to implement.
We can do this by restoring 11 million hectares of degraded land (or 10% of South-Africa or Chad) in the next 12 years - by using the innovative and proven Waterboxx plant cocoon.
This device, currently in its 10th generation and invented by Groasis-founder Pieter Hoff, has been successfully used to plant trees, shrubs, and vegetables in 56 countries across the world already.
The Waterboxx, an intelligent bucket, makes it possible to restore degraded land at 90% lower cost, with 90% less water, and whilst still delivering a 90% survival rate. We call this our Triple Ninety Benefit.
Have a look at the video, and reach out to Groasis if you want to see how we can help make your company or country carbon neutral - whilst addressing 11 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals!
If you want to buy the Waterboxx to plant your own trees, bushes or vegetables, simply visit our webshop on www.waterboxx.com or send an email to info@groasis.com
If you want to learn more about Groasis, visit our website www.Groasis.com

    Empower those in extreme poverty by freeing them with knowledge so they may act individually or in small groups WITHOUT GOVT. For example, paper, cardboard is often free, trash. If they could process it, mix it into a bio-degradable water reservoir with rope wick to roots for watering, then they could afford to grow anything, anywhere, using only their very limited resources. They would need instructions which could be had by phone/pictures. Every village has a phone. Outliers who don't will learn by word-of-mouth and drawing or one-on-one instructions.

      Dear @helloworld-oj9co, apologies for the delay - somehow my earlier reply (sent from my mobile) wasn't posted. We are still building the new factory to make the 6th generation Growboxx, sadly it's taking a lot longer than expected (and we're also looking for investors to help us fund the construction). That being said - the Waterboxx is actually cheaper per tree (because you can plant up to 20 trees with each Waterboxx, so the cost is a lot less than 50 cents per tree), and it has a better carbon footprint (it's 100% recyclable at the end of its life). Why are governments not mass planting trees using our intelligent buckets - that's a question I ask myself a lot too! There's so much talk yet so little action. Years and millions are wasted with conferences and tree plantings which have extremely low survival rates. I think one issue is that not enough people know of us (SO PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AND SHARE OUR VIDEOS WITH ALL YOUR NETWORK :)) and another issue is that the up-front investment in Waterboxxes is relatively high (even though, as described above, the final cost per tree is super low as you can re-use them for up to 10 years). Finally, my father always focused on product development (our Waterboxx is in its 10th generation and has proven itself in 56 countries) and sales always took the back seat. Now that is changing and the first countries have announced they will use our technology to plant millions of trees. I'm hoping that many others will follow, and that we will help restore millions of hectares of degraded, dry, dead land and create lush ecosystems again - that's why I get out of bed every morning and happily go to work :).

    Well played Wout , re forestation of wasteland, greening the planet, carbon neutral by 2035 and ticks most of the UN SDGs boxes too. They will be mighty pissed. If you can get your government on board I will be amazed (plan for feet dragging and promises that don't arrive and don't let them block you). One chap here mentions open source and whilst i don't really understand how it could work (and benefit all you and your fathers hard work) it may be worth exploring as speed may be of the essence, I really think the climate change agenda has a bigger purpose than fixing the environment. I'm based in Britain and would love to do something to help ( I also ordered some of your product from Spain when i lived in Portugal 4 or 5 years ago but sadly it never arrived!)(I did get my money back though)

    • @Groasis
      @Groasis 9 місяців тому

      well, the obvious reason is that my father has invested 20 years of his life (and money, plus that of people who funded him) in developing our technology. The Waterboxx works so well because it's in its 10th generation - and has been tested and developed after carrying out R&D projects in 30 countries over all those years. Our business model is already such that we aim to deliver the highest quality products at the lowest possible price - ideally being produced in the regions where they are being used (thus creating local employment and spending the majority of the revenues locally).

    • @Groasis

      If you read the book my father wrote back in 2006, you'll see that he speaks about our CO2 emissions as 'pollution'. CO2 in the atmosphere is no issue (life depends on it), but mankind has increased the levels well above the long term average. Trees are mother nature's tool to remove this 'pollution' and restore levels to the pre-industrial-revolution balance. Now we've also created a second and third crises: land degradation and water scarcity. My father, inspired by mother nature, invented the Waterboxx plant cocoon - we've got other videos explaining how it's a form of biomimicry. Our intelligent bucket has been used in 56 countries to successfully plant trees, shrubs, and vegetables on degraded land - with 90% less water than the alternatives. Trees create shade, reduce the air temperature, and -if planted on a really big scale- will actually bring back rainfall - all whilst taking CO2 out of the atmosphere, making the soil fertile again, providing food, employment, income, space for wildlife, et cetera.

      Plants came before animals, when ZERO O2 existed. Plants breath in CO2, exhale O2. Plants made animals possible, but O2 is pollution to them. Plants NEED CO2. It's NOT pollution to them. We need plants, therefore, we need CO2. How can some say CO2 is pollution? Governments rule by generation of fear, confusion, fraud. People stop thinking, start obeying and thereby get exploited. Don't LISTEN to MSM lies. Boycott all MSM. Do your own research on alternative media.

    Respected sir, All products keeps improving, you also improve it, In dessert every plants have spike to trap atmospheric water during night hours. You also add spike , as much as possible and observe. Second make recycle plastic leaf like palm leaf and observe how much water is getting collected. You can use natural spike branches or palm leaves to reduce cost. You make design in such a way, so that people can intagale the branches easily. Main design will remain same. If ever people are not able to purchase your pot, they can use stones at bottom of trees, from the gap water will enter. Water will remain trapped beneath stone. Please redigne your pot. You have done very wonderful job. I appreciate it. Jay shree ram.
